One minute you are caught up in the romance - the longing in his eyes as he looks adoringly at the beautiful flower girl at the window (reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet), next you are busting out laughing as the cat clocks him on the head with the flower pot.
That was the true genius of him - taking you from one emotion to the next within seconds of each other.
